  1. 1886Founded at 18 Heriot Row, Edinburgh.
  2. 2015Merged into global law firm Clyde & Co. The residential arm kept the Simpson & Marwick name.
  3. 2020Demerged. The name came home.
  4. 2023The newly formed Simpson and Marwick Group takes the helm.
  5. 2025Returned to legal services, and to Aberdeen, at 20 Rubislaw Terrace.
  6. 2026Celebrating 140 years. The next phase is unwritten, with absolute clarity on the business we want to build.
